The Internal Revenue Service has determined that the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps Aurora Division is "...exempt from federal income tax under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3). ... Donors may deduct contributions to you as provided in section 170 of the code." (excerpts from our IRS Letter of Determination, which is available upon request)
