VISITORS

If you are between 11 and 17 years old, and are interested in adventure, why not join us? Cadets receive training aboard Navy and Coast Guard ships and schools and wear Navy uniforms marked with Sea Cadet Corps insignia. Click on the "Tour" and "FAQ" buttons to see videos and learn more about what cadets learn and do and the types of Sea Cadet units in the Chicagoland area. Then click on "News" to learn about current and past events and "Ship’s Log" to read reports from cadets about their activities.

We invite you to be our guest at one of our drills to get a taste of the Sea Cadets. Our drills are held at the IBEW Local Union 461 Hall and Training Center in Aurora, IL on two Saturdays of each month from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (bring your own lunch). One of your parents will need to talk to the officers when you arrive. Click on the "Contact Us" button to request more information about the Sea Cadets program, directions to the IBEW Hall, or the drill schedule. BE SURE TO CONTACT US BEFORE YOU COME to make sure the Division isn't off at a field trip or other activity that day, and to arrange access to the Training Center.
