Color Guard at the Chicago Bulls
| Aurora Division National TV Exposure? That's
No Bull!
The cadets of the Aurora Division were seen from coast to
coast at Christmastime the night of Dec. 26th during a local and
nationally televised Chicago Bulls home basketball game. WGN-TV,
which is carried on most cable systems in the country, gave plenty
of airtime and lots of closeups as our Color Guard presented the
Colors for the National Anthem sung by a Chicago policeman. A sold
out Chicago Stadium crowd of 22,008 saw the Aurora Sea Cadets
looking sharp and marching off the court to the sound of "Anchors
Aweigh" and lots of applause. The Bulls beat the New Orleans Hornets
96-85 and nobody beats our cadets!
