  1. All advancements require the recommendation of the Commanding Officer
  2. Cadet must attain a score of 3.2 or higher on correspondence courses.
  3. Cadet must attain a score of 60 or higher on the PO3 & PO2 exams, and 63 or higher on the PO1 exam.
  4. Cadets must complete 1 NHQ scheduled advanced training
  5. Recruiting duty may only be used once for a cadet as an Advanced Training.
  6. POLA must be completed before advancement to PO2.
  7. Cadet must have staffed at a Recruit Training after completing POLA before advancement to CPO.
  8. Cadets must submit an entry to the Ship's Log for each training attended prior to advancement.
  9. Cadets must have passed the physical fitness test (PFT) within the past 6 months prior to advancement.
